Update VohCom Server

UPDATE VOHCOM SERVER TO LATEST VERSION 

Important Information: 

• All users must close VohCom before the update. 
• These steps should only be run on the server where SQL (vohcomr1 database) is installed. 
• The vohcomr1 database must be updated first, followed by the VohCom desktop application(s). 
• If the update fails, the user account may not have enough rights to modify the vohcomr1 database. Consider using the account that was initially used to install 
• VohCom or refer to the instructions in the ‘Additional Resources’ section below for guidance on how to assign a new admin user account to the database.

Procedure:  

Login to the server where the vohcomr1 database or the SQL VSINC instance is installed 

A quick way to determine where your VohCom SQL database is installed: 

The first section of the highlighted information will be the Computer Name of where the VohCom SQL/database is installed [ComputerName\InstanceName-DatabaseName] 

Wait for the new version Dbupgrade.exe to auto-download and replace the existing [approx. 30 seconds] 

Once the download is completed, you will see the message below > click OK 

If prompted, click Yes to allow wyUpdate.exe to run 

[*] After wyUpdate runs, the VohCom Page DB Upgrade latest version window will appear > click Update 

[**] Do you want to upgrade from 2.2 to latest version: Click OK 

Do you want to back up the database: Click YES 

[***] Wait for updates to be applied, until you see SUCCESS > click Close 

• Update the VohCom application on the database server. 

• Update the VohCom application on the workstations or other terminal servers.
